Second-generation coin-op operator. His dad, Earl, started in the business in 1936, and Bill grew up in it.

Roots since 1936

Ninety years of coin-op in the family.

Bill’s dad, Earl McDaniel, got into the coin-op business in 1936. That’s him on the left in 1954, at a Memphis operator showing of the AMI Model “F” jukebox. The little guy pushing the ball of cash is the McDaniel Amusement mascot from Bill’s old business card, brought back in Southern Amusement colors.

Today Bill and Chase run Southern Amusement Company from Jackson, Tennessee: the same trade, the same handshake service, and a much better song list.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to what venue owners ask us most. Don’t see yours? Ask us directly.

What does Southern Amusement Company do?

We place and service coin-operated pool tables, TouchTunes digital jukeboxes, vape & Zyn vending machines, and ATM solutions for bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Delivery, setup, calibration, and ongoing support are included, so your staff doesn’t have to think about it.

What areas does Southern Amusement serve?

We’re based in Jackson, Tennessee, and work across West Tennessee, North Mississippi, and surrounding areas. Address: 2000 N Highland Ave, Jackson, TN 38305. Phone: (731) 234-9797.

How does the placement process work?

Three steps. First, a quick site check: we confirm space, power, placement, and your goals, then recommend the right mix of equipment. Second, install & setup: delivery, leveling, calibration, and a walkthrough with your staff. Third, service & support: we monitor and maintain the equipment, and when you need us you get a real operator, fast.

How does the revenue share work?

Simple and transparent: fair revenue splits with straightforward reporting. For ATMs, that means a surcharge revenue share with full monitoring, cash management, and service included. No fine print, no surprises.

Does Southern Amusement sell used pool tables?

Our business is route placement and service, not retail sales, but tables occasionally come off location and become available for purchase. If you’re looking for a used coin-op table, contact us and tell us what you need. If one becomes available, we’ll let you know.

Does Southern Amusement buy amusement routes or used equipment?

Yes. We buy full routes, partial routes, and individual coin-op equipment (pool tables, TouchTunes jukeboxes, dart boards, vending machines, ATMs) from operators in West Tennessee and North Mississippi. See Sell Your Route or Equipment for how it works.

What jukebox system does Southern Amusement use?

TouchTunes digital jukeboxes, including the new TouchTunes Soundwave. Modern, app-driven, with remote management and quick support so the music never stops.

Does Southern Amusement service equipment after it’s installed?

Yes. That’s the point of the route model. We do preventative maintenance and quick repairs, monitor jukeboxes remotely, and respond fast when something needs attention. If you call, you get Chase.

What’s included with a pool table install?

Delivery, setup, leveling, and calibration, plus a quick walkthrough with your staff. Tables are kept in top condition, from fresh rails and cloth to coin-mech and ball-return service.

Does Southern Amusement offer equipment beyond pool tables and jukeboxes?

Pool tables, TouchTunes jukeboxes, vape & Zyn vending, and ATMs are our core lineup. For anything else, such as electronic darts or other coin-op games, ask and we’ll tell you straight whether we can place it. Describe your venue (size, hours, crowd, goals) and we’ll recommend the best setup.

Who runs Southern Amusement Company?

Chase Channell and Bill McDaniel, managing partners out of Jackson, Tennessee. Bill is a second-generation coin-op operator; his dad Earl got into the business in 1936. Same trade, same handshake service. Meet the team.
